Improving Water Use Efficiency: More Crop per Drop
Plants require water to function, but they also lose a considerable amount of water through their pores. To keep up, 70% of all freshwater used by humans goes towards agriculture, which, in many areas, is unsustainable. This time we'll discuss how a substantial effort is being made to reduce water use by crops and produce more "crop per drop".
This event is open to the public.
