Brewery tour:

If you like to drink it and want to know more about how your beer is made, let us take you on a tour of the world of beer. You will learn about ingredients, take a look inside our tanks, and find out more about the processes behind beer production.

Small-group tours will be conducted most Saturdays and Sundays at 3 pm. The brewmaster guided tour will take approximately one hour followed by a sampling of all Riggs Beers. Plan for up to two hours. Closed-toe shoes are required.

We can only take a limited amount of visitors on each tour. So to make sure you have a spot, please check the tour calendar on this page and sign up. Cost for the tour is $10 per person and includes a generous sampling of our beers. Online sign-up closes 1 hour prior to tour start. For for any last minute interest, please call the brewery at 217-718-5345 to see if any spaces are still available.

Special Events:

Our taproom and Beer Garden host a multitude of special events such as Oktoberfest, weddings, board game nights, live music, drone races and more. For details on special events, please see the calendar below.

    Join us at Riggs Beer Company for Beer and Yoga! This one hour, all levels yoga class is a great excuse to drink beer in yoga pants on a Sunday afternoon.
     
    Certified yoga instructor Jodi Adams will guide you through a fun, light-hearted class designed for movement and laughter.
     
    No matter what your level of experience, Beer and Yoga is a fun way to return to the practice or try something new. Men and women are encouraged to join us.
     
    The cost for the yoga class is $10/person to be paid in cash to the instructor prior to class begin. Beverages can be purchased at the bar. No outside beverages can be brought in.
     
    The class will take place in the beer garden and will depend on good weather. In case of rain, the class will NOT take place.
     
    Pre-registration is recommended! Only 35 spots are available.

    Wear comfortable clothing that you can move in.
     
    Please bring your own mat, although we will have extras to borrow.

    Presented by Sally J Foote DVM, CABC-IAABC, LSHC-S

    Dr Foote is a local veterinarian and behaviorist who enjoys presenting topics in animal behavior and health. After 35 years of practice in Tuscola Il, Dr Foote now travels to conferences speaking about reducing stress in animals in care to veterinary professionals.     Stacy Doty has been a musician all of his life. His parents were both musicians and he has sang since he was a child and was featured in choirs and statewide choirs during his junior, high school, and college years. He plays the guitar, mandolin and native american flute.

    His former bands have been the long running “Whiskey Jack”, the sawyer brothers band fro 10 years, the equally long running “Pearl Handle Band”, as well as others throughout his 45 years of live performance. He was signed to AMI Productions in Nashville, TN in the mid 1980s and had radio airplay in the USA and Europe.

    Joining Stacy at his show is Wendy Dexter. She provides excellent harmony as well as audience interaction. Together they provide a very entertaining show.

    They focus on classic rock but also perform contemporary country, classic country as well as 50’s and 60’s hit songs.

But how do we know whether our diet is good or bad? Come discuss the biology behind some current diet fads and learn how your liver plays a central role in coordinating your metabolism.
